Effective July 30, 2026

Short version: we collect what's needed to sell you a garment and ship it, and we don't sell or rent any of it.

What we collect

  • Order details — your name, email, and shipping address, collected by Stripe at checkout and stored with your order so we can fulfil it.
  • Payment — handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our systems. Stripe's handling is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Cart cookie — an anonymous ID that keeps your cart together. It contains no personal information.
  • Where you came from — if you arrive from an ad or link, we record the campaign tags on that first visit against any order you place, so we know which posts are worth making. This doesn't identify you.
  • Anonymous traffic counts — via Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.

What we don't do

  • No selling or renting your information, to anyone, ever.
  • No marketing emails unless you explicitly sign up for them.
  • No third-party ad trackers on this site.

Who touches your data

Three processors run this shop: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and image storage), and Neon (database). Each holds only what its job requires.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Cart cookies expire after 30 days. Lapsed cart holds are released automatically within minutes.

Your choices

Want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted (where the law doesn't require us to keep it)? Message @dustanddyeco or reply to any order email and we'll handle it within 30 days.
